Dienes cleans house.

Channel 5 interviewed neighbors of Frank Dienes after he was released from jail yesterday. Check out the update here.

The reporter also noticed Dienes and his family have removed boxes and boxes of items from the house and garage. I hope the police properly searched the house for evidence in the Kopp and Mihaljevic cases. If no one secured a search warrant related to the Mihaljevic case before they had a chance to clean house, the entire investigation should be turned over to a more committed law enforcement entity.

First of all as a seven hills resident Weds is trash day. So he was putting out the trash. More importantly once it hits the curb --it is abandoned property. NO search warrant needed. If he was deep sixing evidence, he must be incredibly stupid putting it in plain view for anyone to have access to. I can not believe any attorney would let his client give away evidence.

I bet they didn't. What a shame...

I suspect they did get as much as possible.

Then again, look at how much of Billy Strunak's belongings got thrown away (although he probably didn't do it.)

This guy was charged with murder on his property. That means the cops were all over that property during there
investigation that led to that charge

Shouldn't the WHOLE property be a crime scene since a body was found buried in the yard ???????

I agree with Sandy, I would've thought that considering the body was found on his property the property would be a crime scene. I live in the neighborhood though and never saw any police tape on the property

I live VERY near the Dienes's and there was police tape up all around the whole back woods area of the property where Joe's body was found. It went up around 9pm on Friday evening and was taken down about 7:30 am on Saturday. I saw the tape being put up and taken down. I was surprised that it came down so soon but I guess the police thought they found everything there was to find.

That was the rest of Joe's shit. The police didn't search a thing.

The police didn't care. They said Joe was not the victim. They left everything in the house intact....didn't search a thing.

There were more men searching the property than Seven Hills has police officers. That tells me that other agencies were called in to help with the search. I find it very hard to believe that no one searched the house.

This is how to preserve a crime scene: Sowell's house is now surrounded by a towering wire fence that stretches almost to the edge of the second-floor balcony, sealing off the property, which has become overgrown with weeds since investigators left. The fence was erected months ago at the prosecution's request in an attempt to preserve the crime scene.

I wonder why a white guy can bury a guy in his yard, make bail, and enjoy his remaining freedom in his own home, a crime scene! It's fairly obvious they both committed murder. If Bay Village were seriously looking at Dienes as a suspect why have they not searched the house? Have they questioned anyone who heard Joe Kopp say Dienes was involved with Amy's murder?? I think we already know that answer...
